The notable effects of COVID-19 are being felt in every industry, especially the home and building sector. While communicators adapted to the many challenges being presented, new opportunities also emerged.

Our own Meredith Topalanchik, SVP and NY Managing Director, sat down with Ben Boyd, VP of Communications and Community Relations at Lowe's Companies, to discuss the ever-evolving changes in the booming home building and renovation markets.

One example of this, as we all continue to adjust to our "rolling normal", is that some form of remote working is here to stay, and the home office is no longer a luxury but a necessity. With more than half of consumers choosing to renovate their existing home, reputation and trust in this industry is at its highest priority, now more than ever. Ben notes, "It is not just about the pandemic, it is about all the change and transformation that we've gone through. I think what consumers are paying more and more attention to is how brands navigate during these moments."

To hear more on the key to establishing a strong reputation in the home and building industry and how brands have navigated being virtual in an industry that relies so much on touch, feeling and in person connections, listen to the full podcast as part of our Reshaping the Future Podcast series with PR Week.
